Pfizer/Hospira bacteriostatic water in Canada
Order a 30 mL bottle of Bacteriostatic Water for Injection, USP, also called BAC Water. Anglo Peptides supplies Pfizer/Hospira manufacturer-labelled bottles for laboratory research. Each bottle contains water with 0.9% benzyl alcohol (9 mg/mL) as a preservative.
This listing is for one 30 mL bottle. We limit orders to one bottle. The bottle contains a prepared solution; there is no peptide powder to dissolve in this product itself. Review the price and availability above, or use the BAC Water calculator to estimate the bottle count for your planned project.

Canadian and U.S. packaging
We primarily ship Canadian-labelled Pfizer bottles and also carry U.S.-labelled Hospira bottles. Your bottle may look different from the product image. Both packaging types are part of our current supply; country-specific identifiers and label wording can differ.
For procurement records, match the manufacturer, product name, bottle volume, preservative concentration, lot and expiry to the actual bottle. See the Canadian product register and the U.S. Hospira label for reference information. A label reference does not substitute for documentation of a particular shipment.
BAC Water and sterile water: the relevant difference
The 0.9% benzyl alcohol distinguishes this bacteriostatic formulation from preservative-free Sterile Water for Injection. A laboratory should confirm the diluent specified for its compound and method before ordering. The presence of a preservative does not establish compatibility with every research peptide.
Our bacteriostatic water vs sterile water guide explains label differences, storage and the limits of preservative claims. For questions involving acidic solvents, read the acetic acid and bacteriostatic water comparison.
Storage and laboratory documentation
The referenced Hospira product label gives controlled room-temperature storage of 20–25°C. The Canadian bottle photograph supplied by Anglo also states 20–25°C and protection from freezing. Check the exact container you receive rather than applying generic peptide refrigeration instructions to an unopened diluent bottle.
Separate the bottle’s printed expiry, any applicable period after opening, and the stability of a compound after mixing. Those are different questions. A preservative cannot establish a universal shelf life for reconstituted peptides. The storage and label guide explains that distinction and provides the sources.
Plan your order and review Canadian shipping
Enter your protocol’s planned volume and the number of research vials in the 30 mL BAC Water Vial Calculator. It rounds the total planned volume up to whole bottles. Your laboratory must account separately for handling losses, discard requirements and any need to keep projects separate.
