Peptide Research Studies: A Comprehensive Archive
The field of peptide research has expanded dramatically over the past two decades. This archive compiles key peer-reviewed studies, clinical findings, and in-vitro data relevant to the most studied research peptides available in Canada today.
GLP-1 Receptor Agonist Studies
Semaglutide Research
Semaglutide research peptide product page has been the subject of over 400 peer-reviewed studies since its synthesis. Key findings include its mechanism of action at the GLP-1R, its effect on cAMP signalling cascades, and its in-vitro inhibition of glucagon secretion in pancreatic alpha cells.

Tirzepatide (Dual GIP/GLP-1) Research
Tirzepatide’s dual-agonist mechanism targeting GIP and GLP-1 receptors has generated significant research interest. In-vitro models show additive receptor activation effects compared to GLP-1 monoagonism alone.

Retatrutide (triple agonist) research
Retatrutide, also called LY3437943, targets GIP, GLP-1 and glucagon receptors. Start with Coskun et al. (2022), the discovery paper, Jastreboff et al. (2023), the Phase 2 obesity trial, and Bajaj et al. (2026), the published Phase 3 diabetes trial.
The retatrutide research guide explains individual results and separates journal publications from sponsor announcements. The retatrutide 5 mg and 10 mg product page provides current options and the batch-documentation request link. Clinical studies do not verify a commercial lot.
Cagrilintide Research
Cagrilintide is a long-acting amylin analogue studied for its role in satiety signalling and energy homeostasis. Research shows it acts centrally at the area postrema and nucleus tractus solitarius.

Tissue Repair and Regeneration Studies
BPC-157 Research
BPC-157 is a synthetic pentadecapeptide with an extensive in-vitro and animal model research history spanning over 30 years. It has been studied for its effects on fibroblast proliferation, angiogenesis, collagen synthesis, and nitric oxide modulation.

Thymosin beta-4 and TB-500 research
Malinda et al. (1999) investigated thymosin beta-4 in rat skin-wound models. Philp et al. (2003) examined thymosin beta-4 and defined peptides in angiogenesis models. These papers do not establish the identity or effects of a commercial TB-500 lot.

Growth Hormone Secretagogue Studies
Peptides such as Ipamorelin, CJC-1295, GHRP-2, and GHRP-6 have been extensively studied as growth hormone secretagogues. Research focuses on their interaction with the ghrelin receptor (GHSR-1a), pulsatile GH release, and downstream IGF-1 signalling.

Peptide Research Studies, How to Use This Archive
Our peptide research studies archive is organized by peptide class, making it easy to find relevant literature for your specific research area. Each entry in our peptide research studies collection includes the study title, journal, year, primary endpoints, and a summary of key findings, all with direct links to the original publication on PubMed. Whether you’re reviewing peptide research studies on GLP-1 agonists, GHRH analogues, or tissue-repair peptides, our archive provides the reference foundation for rigorous, reproducible research.
Peptide Research Studies, Most Cited Findings
Among the most impactful peptide research studies in our archive are the landmark pharmacokinetic characterisation of CJC-1295 (Jetté et al., 2005), the BPC-157 regenerative mechanism studies reviewed in PubMed, and the meta-analyses of GLP-1 receptor agonists covering outcomes across thousands of subjects in controlled trials. These foundational peptide research studies are cross-referenced throughout our Research Centre articles. Use our Research Centre to read full summaries, or our peptide calculator to apply findings directly to your protocols.
